“Stand UP”: Another fantastic collaboration with the talented Jerome Sabbagh & Analog Tone Factory
I’m thrilled to carry on my collaboration with the amazing jazz saxophonist Jerome Sabbagh on his new album, "Stand UP," which also features Ben Monder, Joe Martin, and Nasheet Waits. This project has been a true blessing, combining my lifelong passion for jazz with my work as a visual artist, and I’m grateful for the chance to collaborate with fellow artists who deeply value creativity.
A Visual Journey Through Music
Two of my images have been selected to be featured as the album artwork, highlighting the visual theme of the project.
Red Reflections – 2025: This cover photograph is an AI-crafted journey into the shadows of our City, weaving together a series of hauntingly moody characters set against an urban tableau. It mirrors the timeless, enigmatic essence of New York’s underbelly where neon signs pulse through rain-soaked streets, and every reflection hides a story. The interplay of light and shadow captures a cinematic noir atmosphere, inviting viewers to step into a world where darkness and vibrant hues collide in rainy, reverberating echoes.
(Brutalist - 2014) The back cover image, crafted through AI, draws deep inspiration from the evocative black-and-white photography of the 1950s master Fan Ho. It presents a stark, high-contrast scene where a lone figure engages in a silent dialogue with an imagined brutalist structure, its imposing forms rendered timeless and mysterious. This monochrome visual world stands in striking counterpoint to the vivid neon hues of the front cover, creating a haunting interplay between shadowed reality and vibrant abstraction.
